Alive Radio 107.3 FM - Dumfries
The Thursday Night Showcase features music from emerging bands and artists, only focusing on those from the Dumfries & Galloway region (or bands who have a gig planned in Dumfries & Galloway). Aired every Thursday between 6pm and 7pm and is presented by Tom Armstrong and Emily Cooper. Happy to accept demos via post or MP3s and links via email direct to Tom. Cover most styles of music but mostly Rock, Indie, Pop, Blues and Acoustic. Willing to feature bands in the studio for acoustic live performances if there is a connection with the region.
BBC Radio Scotland (92-95 FM & 810 MW)
Vic Galloway broadcasts every Monday evening from 8pm playing a mix of session tracks, signed bands and up and coming Scottish music. Submit links to tracks via the email address above. Alternatively, you can use the BBC Introducing Uploader above.
Bute Island Radio (96.5 FM) - Isle Of Bute
Station does not have a specific new music show, but does play music from unsigned artists. All genres welcome. Send demos on CD with accompanying information to the address above marked FAO Production Team.
CamGlen Radio - Rutherglen
Community radio station committed to supporting local artists, with a third of their playlist allocated to unsigned music. Dedicated specialist shows across evenings and weekends play emerging music accross a range of genres. CamGlen Radio only accept submissions from Scottish acts. Celtic Music Radio 95 FM - Glasgow
Celtic Music Radio will play tracks by unsigned bands and artists from most genres but specialise in Singer Songwriters in and around the Glasgow area. Send CDs to their address or email MP3s and links.

Cuillin FM - Isle Of Skye
Cuillin FM is run by volunteers. Currently have no specific shows that play unsigned bands and artists but are happy to receive demos from all genres of music. CDs can be sent in the post FAO Head Of Music or MP3s and links can be sent to their email address.
Dunoon Community Radio - Dunoon
Air Alternative show called Anything Goes which specialises in New Wave, American Psychedelic, Indie, Shoegaze, British MOD, Prog Rock and anything else that fits in, from 10pm to midnight every Tuesday. Submit links to music or MP3s via email FAO Presenter, Luke.
East Coast 107.6 FM - East Lothian

Heartland (97.5 & 106.6 FM) - Pitlochry
Heartland FM encourages local artists to send in their music. Send demos to the address above marked FAO Bruce Patterson. Will happily publicise any local events in their ‘What’s On’ section.
Irvine Beat FM - Irvine
Irvine Beat have 2 specialist shows which give air time to unsigned and emerging artists. Ian Martin’s show on a Thursday night between 10pm and midnight specialises in Rock music. Ronnie McGhie’s show on a Wednesday night between 10pm and midnight specialises in new local bands with live acoustic sessions. Listen live online facility. Jim Gellatly's New Music - Glasgow
Jim Gellatly is a broadcaster who has worked with XFM Scotland until it’s closure. Jim hosts a regular podcast Jim Gellatly’s New Music (only Scottish acts). KCR 107.7 FM - Banffshire
The Musical Box aired every Saturday night from 7pm to 9pm, presented by Eddie Stuart, specialises in unsigned bands and artists. Other shows also play tracks by local unsigned artists as KCR don’t operate a formal playlist. Accept MP3s and links via email. New tracks then spend a month in a special ‘Latest Additions’ category to make it easy for everyone to listen to the new material.
Kingdom 95.2 & 96.1 FM - Kirkcaldy, Fife

Links Radio - East Lothian
Links Radio airs ‘Unsigned Sessions’ live from 8pm every Thursday featuring a live in-studio session from an emerging act. The show is committed to playing music by emerging musicians a minimum of 5 times every hour. The show is not genre specific and MP3s should be sent to Neil Kerr at their email address.
Mearns FM (105.7, 106.2 & 107.3 FM) - Stonehaven
Mearns FM welcome demos from unsigned and emerging local artists of all genres. Submit MP3s via email or website or send hard copy in the post, both along with biog and contact details. If sending hard copies, please feel free to sign them as there is potential for Mearns FM to offer them as competition prizes. Live studio and gig opportunities offered and unsigned and emerging artists are played on Backyard Music show on Wednesdays (6pm-7pm) with Paul Hazelle. Other shows will also play unsigned tracks depending on genre of music.

Radio Saltire - Tranent
Radio station featuring several shows which showcase unsigned talent. Katy G Presents on Fridays from 6pm-8pm deals especially and completely with unsigned and independent music. Local World Cafe presented by Fiona Thom every Saturday 3pm-5pm also features unsigned tracks, as does Alan Henderson on Saltire Rocks! every Sunday from 8pm-11pm. Demos can be submitted to the individual presenters or the studio email if stated otherwise.
Radio West Fife - Dunfermline, Fife
Radio West Fife was established as one of the first hospital radio stations in the country, and has since evolved into a local/community station. Help to champion local musical talent by playing singles, featuring live sessions and live on-air radio shows at local venues; Donald presents D’s Saturday Night Session from 6pm to 9pm featuring a wide variety of music from Blues to Hip-Hop. SIBC - Shetland Islands
SIBC has no specific shows for unsigned music, but is very supportive of local acts and will consider material by locally based bands and artists for the playlist. Submit a link by email to WAV files from approved download sites or send physical demos in the post.
Sunny Govan Radio 103.5 FM
Sunny Govan Community Radio is the home of Scottish Hip-Hop and is committed to promoting local talent with a large playlist of unsigned artists. Regularly provide airplay for tracks by local, unsigned musicians on the station. Submit the form online to send your music for potential airplay opportunities.
Tay FM (96.4 & 102.8 FM) - Dundee
